30+ features built by a contractor, for contractors. Here's exactly what each one does and how to use it.
Features marked with Built-in AI are powered by artificial intelligence.
Snap a photo of any receipt and AI reads every line item. It extracts store name, subtotal, tax, total, payment method, and PO/JOB NAME from contractor-account invoices like Home Depot Pro Xtra. Works with crumpled, faded, or handwritten receipts from Home Depot, Lowe's, lumber yards, paint stores, and supply houses.

Speak naturally and AI parses the amount, vendor, project, and expense category from your voice. Perfect for when your hands are dirty or you're driving between sites. Guided prompts appear while you're recording to remind you what info to include. After recording, you get an editable form to confirm or adjust before saving. Voice works in browsers with speech input, like Chrome and Safari, and in the iPhone app on version 1.0.8 or newer.

When you return materials to a store, just scan the return receipt like any other receipt. AI automatically detects the negative amounts and flags it as a return. The returned amount is subtracted from the original project totals across all reports — budget, P&L, category breakdowns, and tax exports all update automatically.
How it works

AI reads job names, PO numbers, and customer references printed on receipts and fuzzy-matches them against your active projects. A strong match is surfaced for your approval — a normal receipt is never assigned silently (the one exception: a return receipt with a very strong job-name match), because a fuzzy match that looked confident could still land a receipt on the wrong job. Even cashier misspellings and abbreviations are handled — "JOHNSON KIT" still matches your "Johnson Kitchen Remodel" project.

Scan screenshots of Zelle transfers, Venmo payments, CashApp receipts, or photos of checks. AI detects that it's a labor payment — not a material receipt — and categorizes it correctly as a labor expense. The amount, payee name, and payment method are extracted automatically.

A daily check compares what each job has cost so far to its budget. As a job nears its budget you get a push, and another if it goes over — time to call the supplier, adjust scope or write the change order. The job's budget bar turns amber near the limit, and you can ask the AI chat how any job is tracking against its budget.
How it works
Available on: Pro, Contractor
Ask questions about your finances in plain English and get instant answers. The AI knows your payments, expenses, project budgets, 1099 thresholds, burn rates, and category breakdowns. Responses stream in word-by-word so you see progress immediately. Ask things like "How much have I spent on lumber for the Smith job?" or "Generate a bid for a kitchen remodel with our standard markup."
How it works
Available on: Free (10/mo), Pro and Contractor (monthly AI allowance)
Tell the AI your durable business facts — "I charge $76/sqft for quartz countertops," "Standard markup is 25% on materials," "All bathroom remodels include a 10% contingency" — and it remembers forever. Memory is stored server-side tied to your account, so it follows you across devices (Mac Studio, MacBook, iPhone) and sessions. Two scopes: global facts apply to every chat, project facts only show up in that one project's chat. Hardened against prompt injection with server-side filtering and delimiter-wrapped context framing.

Ask the AI to generate a bid, estimate, invoice, or report and it produces a full document with your uploaded company logo at the top automatically. No prompt engineering needed — the rendering layer slots in your logo every time. Save as PDF directly from the document preview.

Get a one-click AI-generated summary for any project. The briefing streams in real time with a 15-second stuck-detection retry. Includes total costs, budget remaining, timeline analysis, risk flags (overruns, stalled spending, unusual categories), and specific recommendations. Perfect for reviewing a project before a client meeting or end-of-week check-in.

Share a branded link with your clients so they can follow their job's money and photos — no login needed. On a fixed-price job they see the contract, change orders and the receipts for reimbursable materials; on an open-book (cost-plus) job, the agreed budget, the cost of work line by line and your builder fee. Every job shows payments received, the balance due and job photos. With Custom branding (Contractor plan) it carries your company logo, colors and tagline.

Create professional invoices directly from your project data. Line items are auto-filled from your tracked expenses and change orders. Add your logo, payment terms, and notes. Generate a clean PDF or shareable link. Pair with email delivery to send invoices directly to your clients.
How it works

Send professional emails directly from the app. Send invoices, payment reminders, weekly project summaries, and welcome emails to your clients. All emails use your branding and include your company information.

At year-end (or any time), download a complete tax package as a ZIP file. Includes: Profit & Loss statement by project, 1099 summary for all subcontractors who exceeded the threshold, expense categories breakdown, all receipts exported to CSV, mileage log with IRS deduction calculations, and an AI-generated narrative summary explaining your financials in plain English.
How it works

Enable location services and the app detects when you arrive at and leave common supply stores — Home Depot, Lowe's, lumber yards, and hardware stores. If you leave without scanning a receipt, you get a gentle reminder notification. Prevents those "forgot to log it" receipts that add up over time. And when a clocked-in crew member stops at a supply store mid-shift, that's a material run: they stay on the clock, and you get a push when they leave the store.
How it works

Set geo-fences around your active job sites. When team members with their own logins arrive at a site, their phone prompts them to clock in — one tap. When they leave, it prompts clock-out. Both the worker and the owner get push notifications. Hours are tracked per project and per worker for easy payroll export. Optional and consent-gated: with the worker's agreement, the app clocks them in on arrival and out about an hour after they leave if they don't come back, each with a notice and a 2-hour undo, during work hours only. It stays off until the worker agrees, and they can switch back to clocking in by hand anytime. Automatic clock-in is on the Contractor plan and up: it works in the iPhone app today, and app-open Android works in the Android app, which is still in testing.
How it works
Available on: Free, Pro, Contractor (automatic clock-in: Contractor)
Log trips between your office, job sites, and supply stores. Each trip records the starting point, destination, distance, and purpose. The IRS business mileage deduction uses the trip date: $0.70/mile in 2025, $0.725/mile Jan–Jun 2026, and $0.76/mile Jul–Dec 2026. All mileage data is included in your one-click tax package.

Add crew members with their own logins. Set hourly or day-rate pay. Track hours worked per project using one-tap GPS clock-in or manual entry. View live locations of your team during work hours. Export hours and totals for payroll with one tap. Role-Based Access Control: owners see everything (P&L, analytics, briefings, exports); crew members are blocked at the server level from all financial data — the restriction is enforced on every API route, not just the UI, so even a crafted API request can't bypass it.
How it works
Available on: Free (3 seats, clock-in only), Pro (10), Contractor (unlimited). Payroll exports: every plan. Live map: Contractor.
Real subscription management powered by Stripe. Choose from Free, Pro ($29.99/mo) or Contractor ($49.99/mo). Upgrade or downgrade anytime. Annual billing available for savings. Manage your payment method, view invoices, and cancel with no hassle. Sales tax is automatically calculated and collected at checkout based on your billing location (where registered for Stripe Tax).

Fully delete your account and every piece of your data from Settings. When you confirm deletion, the app removes all database rows (projects, receipts, expenses, payments, invoices, memory, team records, audit trail) AND purges every file you uploaded from Supabase Storage — receipt photos, company logos, contract PDFs, bid files, and project photos. Complies with GDPR Article 17 right-to-erasure and CCPA § 1798.105.

Toggle Spanish at login for 100% Spanish throughout the entire app — every screen, button, label, notification, error message, and AI response. Your bilingual crew can each choose their own language preference. The toggle is available at login and in settings.

White-label every client-facing surface with your company identity — Contractor plan and above. Upload a logo (PNG, JPEG, or WebP — SVG intentionally not accepted to prevent XSS), set your brand colors, and add a tagline. Your logo appears on the client portal, invoices, shared project links, AND every AI-generated bid or document from chat. Logos are validated server-side for type, magic bytes, and dimensions (max 4096×4096, 4 MB). Company name, address, phone, email, license number, and warranty terms are separate business-profile facts, free on every plan.

Mark specific receipt items or entire receipts as reimbursable. Track running reimbursable totals per project. When it's time to bill your client for materials, export the reimbursable items with full documentation. Keeps personal purchases separate from client-billable expenses.
How it works
Available on: Pro, Contractor
When you make one supply run for multiple projects, split the receipt across them. Assign specific line items to different projects, or split by percentage. Each project gets only the costs that belong to it. Both halves of the split reference the original receipt for audit purposes.
How it works
Available on: Pro, Contractor
Export your expense data in QuickBooks-compatible CSV or IIF format. Hand the file to your accountant or import directly into QuickBooks. All projects, categories, vendors, and amounts are mapped to standard QuickBooks fields. No re-entry needed.

Got a stack of receipts from the week? Scan them all in a row without leaving the capture screen. After each scan, the AI processes it in the background while you immediately snap the next one. Review and confirm all scans at the end in a batch summary.
How it works
Available on: Pro, Contractor
Upload a bid PDF and AI extracts the scope of work, line items, and pricing. Use this to set up a new project with pre-populated budget categories. AI also pulls the jobsite address from the bid document and auto-sets it as the GPS geo-fence location for crew tracking.
How it works
Available on: Pro, Contractor
Track every change order and scope add-on per project. Log the description and amount; each one is pending until you mark it billed, or you cancel it. The running total shows the extra to charge, and the project shows how much of it is still pending approval. Never forget to charge for extras at project end.
How it works

Share a unique link with your subcontractors. They can snap and submit receipts, log expenses, and upload documents directly to your project — without creating an account. Everything lands in your dashboard under the right project, tagged with the sub's name.

A dated record of key changes in the app — receipts, expenses, projects, payments, exports and more — so you can look back at what changed and when.
How it works

Full dark theme support throughout the entire app. Easy on the eyes during early morning site visits or late night project reviews. Matches your system preference automatically or toggle manually in settings. All screens, modals, charts, and reports are fully themed.

Group your team members into crews and name a lead for each one. Assign a whole crew to a project in one move. The lead gets a "My crew today" view — who is clocked in and their hours for the day — without ever seeing anyone’s pay. Pay stays owner-only, enforced at the server.
How it works
Available on: Contractor
Lunch is unpaid, and it is never assumed. The worker can tap Lunch on the clock to start it and "Back from lunch" to end it — the main way. Missed a tap? Type the minutes on the edit-hours form. Or the crew lead declares the whole crew’s lunch for the day — 30, 45, or 60 minutes, or none. Payroll subtracts whatever was recorded from hours before overtime is figured, and running payroll flags any day with no answer so a lunch never slips through unpaid or overpaid. You can edit any member-day’s lunch yourself on the Team page.
How it works
Available on: Contractor
Pay a team member a flat amount per worked day instead of hourly. Worked days queue for your approval, approved days land on the next paycheck, and a paid day is locked to that paycheck so the same day can never pay out twice.
How it works
Available on: Contractor
Flat pay is the default — no overtime is applied unless it’s switched on for your company. Flip on weekly overtime in payroll settings, set your own weekly hours threshold, and payroll buckets hours over the line at the member’s overtime rate.
How it works
Available on: Contractor
One push notification every evening at 8 with the day your crew actually worked: hours with lunch already deducted and the projects worked, who is still clocked in, lunch declarations with any undeclared days flagged, day-rate days labeled approved or pending, and the names of anyone whose phone has gone quiet 2+ hours while still clocked in. Quiet days send nothing. Push-only, for owners with team members, with an off switch on the Payroll rules page (Team → Payroll → Payroll rules), next to overtime. Archived entries are excluded — the same rule your paychecks and team page follow.
How it works
Available on: Contractor
One review screen for everything waiting on your yes. Flagged receipts get real cards — tap to review, swipe to archive, or bulk-select. Worker-proposed project changes and client/sub submissions land in the same list: approve, deny, move to a different project, or jump straight to the receipt. The dashboard "awaiting review" banner counts exactly what sits here, so nothing waits in a corner you never open.
How it works
Available on: Contractor
Payroll is only as good as the hours behind it, so you can fix them. Add an hourly worker's missing shift from the Team page, correct a wrong one from the clock's edit button, and fix one person's lunch for one day without touching the whole crew. A shift that overlaps an existing entry is refused — the same hours can never pay twice — and a day already on a paycheck stays locked until you void it.
How it works
Available on: Contractor
Want to poke around before trusting it with real money? The Demo Project is a fully worked sample job — bid, receipts, change orders, payments, invoice. Every practice row is flagged, and flagged rows stay out of every REAL number: dashboards, invoice totals, tax packages, QuickBooks exports, and AI answers. Delete it anytime; it resets clean.
How it works
Available on: Free, Pro, Contractor
A lot of contractors run their own jobs Monday and swing a hammer on a partner's crew Friday. If another contractor adds you to their team, you can pick their job on your clock, clock into it, and see your hours there — while your own company's books stay completely separate. Their job, their books; your job, yours.
How it works
Available on: Contractor
The Team page is three tabs. People: who is on the clock right now, by job, what needs you, and every member with their rate, crew and unpaid pay. Crews & Lunch: the day’s lunch by crew and per-person corrections. Payroll: the period total and a Pay button per person. Tap anyone for their week and their pay.
How it works
Available on: Free, Pro, Contractor
A dry run shows what would block payroll first: lunch not declared or a day-rate day not approved. A shift still open does not block it; it goes on the next run once it ends. Then each person’s lines (wages, overtime, day rate, reimbursements, advances) and how you paid them. Every paycheck keeps its lines, so a stub shows exactly what was paid and why. Workers get their stub in their portal or by text.
How it works
Available on: Contractor
A worker who forgot to clock out asks to fix the day from their phone: what happened, the times they mean. You see recorded vs. asked-for and what the pay changes by, then Approve, Change it, or Decline — they get a text either way. A day already on a paycheck never changes under you.
How it works
Available on: Free, Pro, Contractor (lunch changes: Contractor)
Every hour on the clock is counted as labor on that job. Set a labor budget per job and see Over or On pace at a glance, and the hours nobody put on a job — with an Assign button to put them where they belong.
